A. Make questions from the table. Then ask and answer them in pairs. Find how many of you like/dislike each of these five things. – সারণি থেকে প্রশ্ন তৈরি করো। তারপর দুজন দুজন করে প্রশ্ন করো এবং উত্তর দাও। এ পাঁচটি বিষয়ের কোনটি পছন্দ / অপছন্দ করো তা খুঁজে বের কর।

B. Read about Kobita’s village. Then discuss in pairs what you like/dislike about her village. – কবিতার গ্রাম সম্পর্কে পড়। তারপর, তার গ্রাম সম্পর্কে তুমি কী পছন্দ/অপছন্দ করো তা দুজন দুজন করে আলোচনা করো।
The name of Kobita’s village is Sundarpur. It is a small village on the bank of the river Kalini. The beautiful river flows through the village. There are one high school, three primary schools and one vocational training centre in this village. Kobita and her friends take computer lessons at this centre. There is a theatre club and a small library too. Kobita can borrow books from the library. She borrows books on history, poetry and children’s classics. The theatre club stages plays regularly. Last month Kobita enjoyed the Mohua drama dance performed by the theatre club. The village has a bazar on the river side. This is a very noisy and dirty place. Kobita never goes to the bazar. The village roads are also narrow and dirty. Although there electricity in Sundarpur, the villagers experience’ frequent load shedding in summer.
কবিতার গ্রামের নাম হলো সুন্দরপুর। কালিনি নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত এটি একটি ছোট গ্রাম। সুন্দর নদীটি গ্রামের মধ্য দিয়ে বয়ে গেছে। এ গ্রামে একটি উচ্চবিদ্যালয়, তিনটি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় এবং একটি কর্মমুখী প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র রয়েছে। কবিতা এবং তার বন্ধুরা এই কেন্দ্রে কম্পিউটার শেখে। এখানে একটি নাট্য দল এবং ছোট একটি গ্রন্থাগারও রয়েছে। কবিতা গ্রন্থাগার থেকে বই ধার করতে পারে। সে ইতিহাস, কবিতা এবং শিশুদের চিরায়ত সাহিত্যের বই ধার নেয়। নাট্যদলটি নিয়মিত নাটকের আয়োজন করে। গত মাসে কবিতা নাট্যশালা কর্তৃক পরিবেশিত মহুয়া গীতি নাট্য উপভোগ করেছিল। গ্রামটিতে নদীর পাশে একটি বাজার আছে। এটি খুর কোলাহলপূর্ণ এবং নোংরা জায়গা। কবিতা কখনো বাজারে যায় না। গ্রামের রাস্তাগুলোও খুব সরু এবং নোংরা। যদিও সুন্দরপুরে বিদ্যুৎ আছে, গ্রামবাসীরা গ্রীষ্মকালে প্রায়ই লোডশেডিংয়ের শিকার হন।
