1. What’s the announcement for? ঘোষণাটি কীসের?
Ans: The announcement is for the ‘Subarna Express‘ to Chattogram. (ঘোষণাটি চট্টগ্রামগামী সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেসের জন্য।)
2. Where is the train going? রেলগাড়িটি কোথায় যাচ্ছে?
Ans: The train is going to Chattogram. (ট্রেনটি চট্টগ্রাম যাচ্ছে।)
3. What platform will the Subarna Express stand at? সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেস কোন প্লাটফর্মে থামবে?
Ans: Subarna Express will stand on platform 1. (সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেস প্লাটফর্ম ১ এ থামবে।)
4. Where can the passengers buy their tickets? যাত্রীরা কোথা থেকে টিকেট ক্রয় করতে পারবে?
Ans: The passengers can buy their tickets at Counter Number 5 of the booking office. (যাত্রীরা বুকিং অফিসের ৫নং কাউন্টার থেকে টিকিট কিনতে পারবে।)

B. Write a similar announcement for the passengers of a luxury bus at a bus station. Give the passengers necessary instructions, including departure and arrival times, place and time for lunch break, etc. in the announcement. একটি বাস স্টেশনে বিলাসবহুল বাসের যাত্রীদের উদ্দেশ্যে অনুরূপ একটি ঘোষণা লেখো। ঘোষণায় ‘যাত্রীদেরকে ছাড়ার ও পৌঁছার সময়, মধ্যাহ্নভোজ, বিরতির স্থান ও সময় ইত্যাদি বিষয়সহ প্রয়োজনীয় নির্দেশনা দাও।

Good morning. I, on behalf of Volvo Bus Service, am announcing some necessary instructions for our honourable passengers to make safe and sound journey from Dhaka to Chattogram. Volvo Bus Service No. 5 is going to depart at 6:00 am. Our honourable passengers are requested to keep their luggages into the box of the respective bus. Within fifteen minutes you are asked to get on the bus. Don’t forget to fasten your seat belts while sitting. It is expected that we will take lunch at Royal Resort, Chauddagram at 12:00 p.m. Just after twenty minutes we will resume our journey to Chattogram. It is expected that we will reach there at 3: 00 p.m.

সুপ্রভাত। ভলভো বাস-সার্ভিসের পক্ষে ঢাকা থেকে চট্টগ্রামে নিরাপদ ভ্রমণ করতে সম্মানিত যাত্রীদের জন্য কিছু প্রয়োজনীয় নির্দেশনা ঘোষণা করছি। ৫নং ভলভো বাস সার্ভিস সকাল ছয়টায় ছেড়ে যাবে। আমাদের সম্মানিত যাত্রীদের নিজ বাসের বাক্সে মালপত্র রাখতে অনুরোধ করছি। পনের মিনিটের মধ্যে আপনাদের বাসে উঠতে অনুরোধ করছি। বসার সময় সীটবেল্ট বাঁধতে ভুল করবেন না। আশা করি, দুপুর বারটায় চৌদ্দগ্রাম রয়াল রিজোটে আমরা মধ্যাহ্ন ভোজ করব। ঠিক বিশ মিনিট পর আমরা চট্টগ্রামের উদ্দেশ্যে পুনরায় যাত্রা শুরু করব। আশা করি আমরা বিকেল তিনটায় গন্তব্যস্থলে পৌঁছে যাব।
