Faster than fairies, faster than witches,
পরিদের চেয়ে দ্রুত, ডাইনিদের চেয়ে দ্রুত,
Bridges and houses, hedges and ditches;
সেতু ও ঘরবাড়ি, ঝোপঝাড় ও ডোবা;
And charging along like troops in a battle
এবং রণক্ষেত্রে তেড়ে আসা সৈন্যদের মতো
All through the meadows the horses and cattle:
চারণভূমি অতিক্রম করা ঘোড়া ও গবাদিপশু যত:
All of the sights of the hill and the plain
সমতলভূমি ও পাহাড়ি দৃশ্যাবলি
Fly as thick as driving rain;
ঘন হয়ে উড়ে যায় দ্রুত চলা বৃষ্টির মতো;
And ever again, in the wink of an eye,
আবার, চোখের পলকে,
Painted stations whistle by.

আরও রয়েছে কল-কারখানা ও নদী
Each a glimpse and gone forever!

C. Make a list of things that you can see passing quickly by a running train. – চলন্ত ট্রেন থেকে দ্রুত পার হয়ে যাওয়া কী কী জিনিস তুমি দেখতে পাও তার একটি তালিকা তৈরি করো।

D. Make a list of the words and phrases that tell us about how fast the train is running. Examples: faster than fairies, charging along etc. – এমন শব্দ ও শব্দগুচ্ছের একটি তালিকা তৈরি করো যা ট্রেনটি কত দ্রুত চলছে সে সম্বন্ধে বলে।
