Walk-in interview!
Human beings always look for information or news. Every moment our life is influenced by one kind of information or the other. Hence it is said that information is knowledge. We collect all the information or news from the ‘mass media’. Newspapers, radio, or TV channels together are called mass media. Among them newspapers belong to print media, whereas TV, radio and the internet are electronic media.
The media can build up public opinion rapidly. Therefore, mass media are considered powerful in modern times. It has made the public relations job easier for many. For example, a business house can do excellent marketing activity through advertisement in the media. This positive use of the media may boost our economy. Positive campaigns can make positive changes in society. So business community should use the media for economic growth. Social workers should use the media for better changes. However, there are negative or bad uses of mass media.
Advertisement is seen as a positive use of the media. But bad ads can do some harm to social values.
