এছাড়া এনসিটিবি প্রাক-প্রাথমিক, প্রাথমিক, মাধ্যমিক, ইবতেদায়ী, দাখিল ও ভোকেশনাল স্তরের পাঠ্যপুস্তক মুদ্রণ ও বিনামূল্যে পাঠ্যপুস্তক বিতরণের কাজ সুষ্ঠভাবে সম্পাদন করে থাকে। পাঠ্যপুস্তক মুদ্রণের সংখ্যা অনুসারে এটি বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে বড় প্রকাশনা প্রতিষ্ঠান। অধিকন্তু এটিই শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনস্থ সবচেয়ে বড় স্ব-শাসিত প্রতিষ্ঠান।

It also develops and refines textbooks and other learning materials according to the national curriculum.

In addition, NCTB efficiently carries out the printing and free distribution of textbooks at the pre-primary, primary, secondary, Ebtedayee, Dakhil, and vocational levels. Based on the number of printed textbooks, it is the largest publishing organization in the world. Moreover, it is the largest autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education.
