আছে যার দুধেল পশুর পাল, শস্য ভরা মাঠ, যার পশুরা যোগায় বস্ত্র, যার গাছগুলো গ্রীষ্মে দেয় ছায়া, শীতে তাপ। |

সৌভাগ্যবান! যে নির্বিকারভাবে দেখে ঘণ্টা, দিন ও মাস স্বচ্ছন্দে চলে যায়, সুস্থ দেহে, মনের সুখে, দিনের নীরবতায়। |
| Sound sleep by night; study and ease Together mix’d; sweet recreation; And innocence, which most does please, With meditation. |
রাতে গভীর ঘুম; অধ্যয়ন ও আরাম একত্রে মিলে মিশে; মধুর বিনোদন, নিষ্পাপতা, যা সবচেয়ে বেশি আনন্দ দেয়, ধ্যানের গম্ভীরতায়। |

1. What things does a happy man have? (একজন সুখী মানুষের কী কী থাকে?)
Ans. A happy man has a few acres of paternal land, flocks and trees. (একজন সুখী মানুষের কয়েক একর পৈতৃক জমি, পশু এবং গাছ থাকে।)
2. How does he pass his time? (তিনি কীভাবে তার সময় কাটান?)
Ans. He passes his time with study and ease, sweet recreation and sound sleep at night. (তিনি অধ্যয়ন এবং আরাম করে, মজার বিনোদন এবং রাতে গভীর ঘুমের মাধ্যমে তার সময় কাটান।)
3. How does he wish to die? (তিনি কেমন মৃত্যুবরণ কামনা করেন?)
Ans. He wishes to die unlamented and quiet. (তিনি পরিতাপহীন এবং শান্তিপূর্ণ মৃত্যু কামনা করেন।)
4. How do you think you can be happy in life? (তুমি কীভাবে জীবনে সুখী হতে পারবে বলে মনে করো?)
Ans. I think that I can be happy in life if I fulfil my usual needs. (আমি মনে করি যে আমি জীবনে সুখী হতে পারব যদি আমি আমার স্বাভাবিক প্রয়োজনগুলো মেটাতে পারি।)
