A. In pairs, partner A thinks of something she/he really likes/dislikes and tells B about this through miming partner B tries to guess what A wants to tell. Take turns as B mimes and A tries to guess. – দুজন দুজন করে, A কোনো কিছু সম্পর্কে ভাবে যা সে সত্যিই পছন্দ/অপছন্দ করে এবং এটা সে অঙ্গভঙ্গির মাধ্যমে B কে বলে। A কী বলতে চায় B তা অনুমান করার চেষ্টা করে। পালাক্রমে B অঙ্গভঙ্গি করে এবং A তা অনুমান করার চেষ্টা করে।
For example, partner A may do the miming of picking a cup from the saucer, sipping tea from the cup and then making an expression of disliking to show that he really dislikes having the tea. B. Read the following text about Paul’s visit to Kobita’s house and answer the following questions-পল কর্তৃক কবিতার বাড়ি পরিদর্শন সম্পর্কে পাঠটি পড় এবং নিচের প্রশ্নগুলোর উত্তর দাও:
Paul went to meet Kobita and her family the next day. He was in his blue trousers and a grey T-shirt. Kobita’s mother, Ms Shahana was a shy woman and she was reluctant to come in fornt of Paul. But Paul greeted her warmly in his newly learnt Bangla, “Kemon achen?”. Ms Shahana loved hearing foreigner to speak Bangla. She welcomed Paul to her house.
Kobita started talking to Paul. She wanted him to write something for her school magazine. As they were talking, Ms Shahana prepared quite a number of Bangladeshi dishes. She served him lunch at noon. Paul had plain rice, chicken curry, fish bhuna, dal and salad for lunch. He liked the tastes of all those delicious items except the dried fish bhorta. He is afraid of hot chilies. He also does not like eating fresh onions. So he skipped the smashed potato which had chopped fresh onions in it. But Paul became very fond of the dessert made of rice, gur, milk and coconut. He also enjoyed drinking tea made of fresh cow milk. Paul thanked Kobita and Ms Shahana for the lunch. In fact, he was tired of having vegetables and fried eggs eating the same food for weeks. for the last few weeks. He hates So he enjoyed the tastes of a variety of Bangladeshi dishes.
পল পরের দিন কবিতা এবং তার পরিবারের সাথে দেখা করতে গেল। সে নীল ট্রাউজার এবং ধূসর টি-শার্ট পরিহিত ছিল। কবিতার মা মিজ শাহানা একজন লাজুক মহিলা এবং তিনি পলের সামনে আসতে আগ্রহী ছিলেন না। কিন্তু পল তাঁকে তাঁর নতুন শেখা বাংলায় “কেমন আছেন?” বলে সম্ভাষণ করল। বিদেশির মুখে বাংলা শুনে মিজ শাহানার ভালো লাগল। তিনি পলকে তাঁর বাসায় স্বাগত জানালেন। কবিতা পলের সাথে কথা বলতে শুরু করোল। তার বিদ্যালয় সাময়িকীর জন্য সে পলকে কিছু লেখার জন্য বলল। যখন তাদের আলোচনা চলছিল, মিজ শাহানা বেশ কিছু বাংলাদেশি খাবার প্রস্তুত করে ফেললেন। তিনি তাঁকে দুপুরের খাবার পরিবেশন করলেন। পল সাদা ভাত, মুরগির মাংসের তরকারি, ভুনা মাছ, ডাল এবং সালাদ খেয়েছিলেন। তিনি কেবল শুঁটকি ভর্তা বাদে অন্য সবগুলো উপাদেয় খাবারের স্বাদ পছন্দ করেছিলেন। তিনি ঝাল মরিচের ব্যাপারে আতঙ্কিত ছিলেন। তিনি কাঁচা পেঁয়াজ খাওয়াটাও পছন্দ করেন না। তাই তিনি পেঁয়াজ কুচি দেওয়া আলু ভর্তাও এড়িয়ে গেলেন। কিন্তু চাল, গুড়, দুধ এবং নারকেলের তৈরি মিষ্টান্নটি পলের খুব পছন্দ হলো। তিনি গরুর টাটকা দুধের চাও খুব উপভোগ করলেন। পল কবিতা ও শাহানাকে দুপুরের খাবারের জন্য ধন্যবাদ জানালেন। বস্তুত তিনি গত কয়েক সপ্তাহ ধরে ডিম ভাজা ও শাকসবজি খেতে খেতে ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়েছিলেন। তিনি সপ্তাহ জুড়ে একই খাবার খেতে অপছন্দ করেন। সুতরাং তিনি বিভিন্ন ধরনের বাংলাদেশি খাবার বেশ উপভোগ করলেন।

Ans. Paul has been eating vegetables and fried eggs for the last few weeks. So, he did not like eating them, he was tired of having those food. (গত কয়েক সপ্তাহ ধরে পল সবজি এবং ডিমভাজা খাচ্ছিল, তাই সে ওইগুলো খেতে পছন্দ করেনি। সে ওইসব খাবার খেতে খেতে বিরক্ত হয়ে পড়েছিল।)
